Boots: with the melting snow, there are many puddles on the playground. Students should be wearing appropriate footwear for outdoor recess.

Other: The air is very dry in the building during the winter. It is important that students stay hydrated during the day. All students should have a refillable water bottle in order to minimize interruptions during instruction.

Science: Volcano research is due on January 8.

Reading : 20 minutes

Weather related items: Students should come to school prepared to go outside to recess EVERY day. Today, many students came without boots even though it was snowing out and it was outdoor recess. Students are encouraged to wear boots during the winter moths. Also, the air is very dry so it would be appreciated if students had refillable water bottles in order to lessen the disruptions during instruction time.
