Math: Study Link 6.10: Using a half circle protractor to measure angles

Spelling: Lesson 33: Compound words

Reading: 20 minutes to ear tickets for the reading carnival. You must read a minimum of 20 minutes each night for 5 nights each week in order to earn tickets. Reading vouchers are due on Friday and must be signed by an adult

Social Studies: The State in a Bag projects are due on Friday. All research was completed here at school . Be creative with your bags and follow the rubric that was sent home with the packet. You will be graded according to the expectations of the rubric,

Special: With the warm weather rolling in, it is suggested that all students have refillable water bottles here at school.

Math: Study Link 6.6 : US Customary Units of weight conversion

Spelling: Lesson 32: Spelling patterns of the schwa sound

Social Studies: Students should be planning and designing the State in a Bag research projects. All of the research has been completed in school. Students need to design the bags following the specific requirements on the packet and deciding which items to include in the bag and writing descriptions for each item as to how they relate to the state.

Math : Study Link : Solve division problems using division strategies that work for you. All work must be show in order to be complete. 

Social Studies: We are doing research here in school for the State in a Bag project. You should be thinking of six items that you will include in your bag. The project will be presented in class on May 27.

Reading: Read for a minimum of 20 minutes per night for 5 nights each week in order to accumulate tickets for the Reading Carnival.

Science: All science fair materials must be in tomorrow in order to work on the posters here in school. If the materials are not here, all poster will need to be completed at home and brought into school for the fair on Thursday. The science fair will be held from 1:45 to 2:30 in each 4th grade classroom.

Spelling: Lesson 30, a review of lessons 26-29, is due on Friday. This includes Write to the Point. You may not use a homework pass for Write to the Point.
