Math: Home link 2.8 .Multiplicative comparisons. Math Facts Practice

Spelling: page 65 if not completed in school

Social Studies: Touring the Midwest Region booklet, page 1, 2, 3 if not completed in school

Science: Information came home today  regarding the Volcano Research Project which all 4th graders do in Science. Students are to choose their 1st and 2nd choice volcano to research and send back a signed notification  ( it's the bright yellow sheet that is with the packet) by Wednesday, December 6. Mrs. Estle will assign the projects on that day. She will allow no more than 2 students to research the same volcano. It's important that your child do a little research before making their choices as there is not a lot of information to be found on some volcanoes. Make sure your child is enthused about the choice so that they will be engaged in the process.  All of the research and the construction of the volcano will be competed at home. Mrs. Estle will be working with the students on Google slides presentations during Science class.This is always a project that students look forward to doing. The presentation will be on February 17.

Math: Home link 2.9. Multiplicative comparison word problems with diagrams as done in school. Math facts practice

Reading : 20 minutes

Library:  The library is having the Winter Book fair this week. Students may bring money to buy books during our library time tomorrow. Students may also look for books that they would like to purchase and keep a list with titles and prices and bring the money in on another day. Students may also keep a wish list for parents.

Special: The weather has turned cold. Students are expected to go outside to recess whenever it is outdoor recess. I noticed many students were not dressed appropriately today and were cold when they came in. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather.


All students should have water bottles at their desks.

Special: Tomorrow is Library so return any books which are due

Today the students started coding through Code. org with Ms. Tabet. All of the students brought home a log-in which they can access online from home. They can easily get to the site by logging into their G-Mail account. All students should have the link bookmarked in the upper left corner of their drive.

All students should be visiting Dream Box 30-60 minutes each week. This is also bookmarked on their Google Account.
