Math: Creating patterns worksheet. Students will create a patterns and then find the number in the pattern.
Spelling: Lesson 4. Words with the long e sound, Patterns are: ea, ee. You do not have to complete Write to the Point but you must complete the challenge sentences on separate lined paper.
Science: Water Cycle worksheet. Write a short paragraph that describes the water cycle. Please remember to have your parents sign the worksheet. This is due on Wednesday.
Special: Reminder that picture day at LSS is on Friday. You do not have to bring your payment into school before then. The studio representatives will collect order forms and payments directly from the students prior to their sitting.
Field Trip: We will be going to Great Bay Discovery Center on Tuesday, October 20. All permission slips and payment ( cash only) are due by October 14.
Scholastic Reader order forms were sent home today. If you would like to order any books, you can do this either on-line or through me. If you order through me, payments must be made by check or money order. The code for ordering on line is LTNPK

Special: A permission slip was sent home today regarding a field trip to Great Bay Discovery Center in Stratham. This field trip compliments the New Hampshire fourth grade Social Studies curriculum. It is important that all students make their best effort to attend.

This can be a number line or underlining the digit in the thousands and circling the digit in the hundreds to determine if the thousands stays the same or rounds up to the next thousand. Hint: if the digit in the hundred is 5 or greater , the thousands will round up.

If your child has mentioned being too cool, please have them bring a light weight sweater or jacket to wear in class.
