Students continue to familiarize themselves with their classmates, classroom expectations and routines, and the curriculum of the 4th grade. The STAR Reading assessment will be give to the class tomorrow and the STAR math assessment will be given next Wednesday.
There is no homework tonight. The students should expect to have homework starting next week.

This week the focus will be on building a classroom community and getting ready for the 4th grade curriculum. There will be homework assignments , however the office staff would appreciate it if all forms which need signatures could come back as soon as possible. I encourage students to bring in refillable water bottles that can be kept at their desks. In addition, when students bring in cash for hot lunches please make sure that it is labeled, either with a sticky note or placed in an envelope.
